Machiya Italian In The Ancient Capital.

ABOUT

Nestled at the end of a secret alley
An Italian “machiya” townhouse restaurant in the ancient capital that embellishes each season.

Strolling along Kiyamachi from Shijo with the Takase River in sight, you will come across a small lantern. At the end of this narrow cobblestone path, quietly stands a sukiya-zukuri style machiya — the main store of the Kyoto Kamogawa Club.

Japanese-style tranquility and warmth permeate the interior of our restaurant. While savoring authentic Italian cuisine made with abundant seasonal ingredients, enhanced by a delicate Kyoto-esque touch, gaze out the window at the flowing Kamo River.

Whether for casual lunches, business meetings or spending special moments with loved ones, we cordially invite you to enjoy our genuine hospitality.
